    Hey guys...

I got a Dell 7970M in my M15x... Here is a curiosity, how many sensors does the Dell card have in total?

GPU-Z only detects and reports one.

HWiNFO only detects and reports one as well under the GPU category.

But here is the curious one. I have a new sensor labeled Temp0 under the "Alienware M15x EC" category, that I once never had before with my 5850. My 5850 originally reported memory and diode temps and this 7970M seems to only report the diode.

The new Temp0 sensor will report a 3* C higher temp than my GPU is running at.

Google'd this and asked this else where with no answers... Thanks

If you are seeing that in HWiNFO64, perhaps Mumak can shed some light on the subject. Is this something that wasn't present before and suddenly surfaced with a software update? He has been adding features lately and I frequently see changes to his amazing software. Have you tried asking him what it is yet? You can find him over here.
