Do we still have an active Dell/Alienware rep on the forums? I haven't heard from Erwanela (sp?) in a while.

I'm having an issue ordering a Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth 3.0 module for my m11x r3 over the phone. I can't order from eBay because none of the cables match the m11x r3. The phone reps just tell me to buy an external adapter. :(

I'm hoping someone can help me place this order.

OK, I opened up the r3 before ever even turning it on and found that it does have the cable at least, so I can order the eBay module. Even so, I'm still wondering if Dell has an active rep here. Thanks!

There are several of them on here trolling and some even posting, but I highly doubt they will step out of the shadows and reveal themselves. Not with all the issues going on right now. They'd probably be bombarded by PMs to the point that they'd be too swamped to really be of any use. :/

    CZroe,

Unfortunately, Erawniela is no longer in a liason capacity with Alienware. Currently, the only individual you can really get access to is Chris Mixon (DELLChrisM).

Chris is the moderator for the Dell Alienware forum on the Dell Community website and frequents here. I'd recommend sending him a PM or posting your request on the Dell site.

As much as I hate to say this, after Erawniela left there is pretty much no support from Alienware. After months of frustration due to the lack of driver updates, general support, etc. I bit the bullet and purchased a new system from Origin.

Best of luck... It wouldn't be the first time the online configurator was wacky. When the M17R1 launched a bunch of people didn't get bluetooth modules and had to order them after the fact due to a similar glitch - it was a mess.

    or you could buy this one : Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 – Overview

I got one from ebay for $25, still waiting for it to arrive but I saw report from other forum that it works in normal laptop (I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work though)
