Dell EPP is employee purchase program. The student one is different.
In most cases, with the EPP you have to give them the group code that your company has.
For students, I believe its an Email address?? As long as you have an email address that ends in edu or something like that. I am not sure.. Some else that has used it may be able to provide clarity. -
Thanks for your reply
im in Australia and this is the link we get to the codes

For the student side of things do you need to prove it in anyway? Does Dell checkat all?
Any answers would help, i dont want to sign up for it and it back fires on me
The 8% code works for me on the m17x GFJVN23QJRZ?VM
Can I just use it like that and be all good? -
I know that if you call them and tell them you are part of the EPP while ordering, they will ask for your member ID. If you're a student, you should be able to find your member ID on your university's site...
Did you register with them on that site? Did they ask you for university and your university ID number? -
I haven't signed up for it, the sign up part seems to be only for companies or epp. It did have anything that asked for a uni/school.
Thanks for the replies -

-
There's still tax.
Oh and sometimes they ask for your member id, sometimes they don't. It depends on the rep. -

Sorry for the late reply been sleeping
I am studying but not at a uni or anything like that...
Sound like it might not work for me then
Any other ways of getting it a bit cheaper? -
they will give free shipping, but try to get the dell student. There is a gd chance they dont ask you..... but you will need a university or college email so they can verify at most. -
Ok I think i will have to try that when the time comes
Try out my salesmen mind skills lol
Cheers for all your replys much apreciated -

Guys a small suggestion here... i ordered mine through EPP.... i am a student of New York University.... i wasnt sure if i was eligible for EPP.... EPP is not just for employees of various organizations... students can also use EPP as far as your school is a Dell consumer..... my advice, call the rep and give him your info including the school you go to.... he/she will check if you are eligible for EPP and if you are then he/she will take care of discount coupon numbers

And good luck finding a school in the USA that isn't a Dell customer
-
Besides Boeing which company offers more than 7% discount through EPP?
-
cookinwitdiesel Retired Bencher
I may be wrong here, but I believe that the 7% is the max discount through EPP for a full system, individual parts or accessories can be discounted further through the program.
-
You are wrong Boeing gets 16% off as a base discount.
-

It's nice to work at Boeing then.
-
Yes, it is nice to work there but there is no way that Boeing is the only company in the world with such discounts or at least with more than 7%.
