Does anyone have a 20% or 30% mystery coupon that they aren't going to use? I will be ordering a fully loaded AW18 and I hate sounding like a beggar, but every percent off counts at that price. I used a few email accounts and was only able to get 10% off coupons. I would really appreciate it if someone would PM me a code.

I got 5% off by the student coupon and that's it...Also never heard that you can haggle to have a lower quote
Dell doesn't even do accidental protection here and the extended warranty is a MASSIVE ripoff

Had a go and got a 20% on PCs and Tablets and 10% on.accessories..

 

Mine was 20% on PC. I ordered on the 23rd of July and it shipped yesterday with delivery on the 1st of Aug. and just received the coupon this mornng. Called Dell and spent an hour after getting disconnected twice. At first they said they couldn't apply it to an already shipped item. After talking to 3 different reps, and explaining how stupid it was for me to return it when it arrives on the 1st unopened and reorder it for an extra $400 off, they finally succumbed to my request and refunded the amount. They couldn't argue the fact that it made no sense to do that. So, I ended up getting $600 off using my 10% coupon and the 20%. Makes its arrival on the 1st all the sweeter.

 

You have to add it from the Dell MPP site.

 

I was adding it from the MPP site, that's what was so weird about it. I even opened another browser, checked the code, and used the links below the code confirmation to get to the computer I wanted to see the discount on. But I chatted in and confirmed its validity.

 

Looks like I'm going to be putting my spare email accounts to use... unless I get lucky and score a 30% coupon early. I just missed out on the Dell Outlet 30% coupon but maybe I can manage something here.

Edit: Well I got about 8 10% coupons for each category. Not too easy to get lucky. =/

Congrats, I've given up. I ended up getting 30% anyhow with a 10% I already had plus the 20%. It's great they let you combine them.

 

I was pretty close to just giving up, that was too much time spent. Worth it though.

How are you getting the coupons to combine? If I try to combine them I just get an error.

I had already ordered mine with the 10% on the 23rd and it shipped last night. I received an email this morning and got the 20%. I called this morning to get a refund for the 20%. They said they couldn't after it had been shipped. After 3 different reps I explained that I would refuse delivery on Thurs. or send it right back unopened and reorder to get my additional $400. They finally agreed that that was rediculous and refunded my card $400. It says on the coupon it can be combined with other offers. I would go to the site and configure your rig then call them with the code. The 10% I had was for the 14 only available on alienware arena.

Pretty cool folks are sharing. As I mentioned previously, this is probably the easiest to get a high % off. Considering haggling takes a lot of time as well, this might actually be easier since you know after about 100+ emails, you "should" get a 30% off. I don't think Dell meant for it to work this way though. In the past, I think Dell didn't send out a new coupon right away so you'd have to create a ton of emails and wait for it to occur again...

I didn't see it posted, but the breakdown is 90% will get 10% off, 9% will get 20% off and 1% will get 30% off.

I would probably do this and try harder to get a 30% off as well if I wasn't so broke. I did get some 10% PC coupons and a few 20% off accessories. The 20% code doesn't seem to work on the Alienware backpack though. Was there anything else worth buying?

I'm running pretty good odds. I'm up to about 70 emails, 2 30%, 8 20% for PC.

 

I've done 200, and haven't gotten a 30% accessories yet. Admittedly, I probably only checked accessories for 3/4 of those.
