I have been shopping for laptops for a few months now and I had considered Alienware. When I checked this morning, I noticed that the M17x starts at $3,899 USD and the M15x starts at $3,299 USD. Actually, it looks like the significantly increased the prices of all their laptops.

It seems that the i7 laptops have retained their previous price points, but all the Core 2 Duos have gone up.

I see the M17x starting at $1,799 USD and the M15x starting at $1,499 USD, hasn't changed in a bit actually. Are you looking at a pre-configured model somewhere?

$3,899? Maybe for a tricked out pre configured model.

I must have been looking at preconfigured models. I do apologize for not realizing this, but I have not been asleep in almost 72 hours. I think everything started to go hazy after 0200 this morning.

    EDIT

Wow, it has been changed. I am honesty not sure what I was looking at.
