Disabled Facial Login. Can Fingerprint be tricked?

I was wondering if alot a people have disabled the facial login on their AW's ?
I have on mine ever since I found out a photo can give anyone login to your system. Instead I now just use the fingerprint login only.
Which brings me to another question. Can the fingerprint login be tricked as easily as the Facial can?

Generally, yes It's slightly harder, but if anyone takes a piece of tape to a glass you drank from, they can reproduce your fingerprint and get in. Biometrics are not useful as a single-source identifier.

That said, how secure does it really need to be? It'll keep your little brother from getting onto your machine, as well as most general people who'd steal a laptop (about the same as a password would). A thief would have to be very clever to snag your laptop and then check it for fingerprints to unlock it with.

If you want to be truly secure, you need to encrypt your drive, and use two-factor authentication (something you have, like your fingerprint, and something you know, like your password) for everything. But that's getting a little silly unless you're carrying around tons of highly sensitive information.

 

get a padlock, and a drill, and hire obama security....

 

we'll have to see about that... two days is nothing. mind you, me and a friend have got a bet going on...

 

I still use face log-in for the simple reason that it is simply too much work to find a good pic of my face, print it out to size, and SOMEHOW getting to my laptop without my knowing. nothing sensitive on there anyway.

He can't get sniped because the SUV's windows are bulletproof, even from something like a sniper bullet. The SUV is said to be able to withstand going onto a mine. The machine gun is supposed to come out so the secret service agents with Obama in the car can use it to kill the attackers.
