    Disabling 9400 On M17x Problems

    i just tried to disable the 9400 built im graphics it was affecting my 3dmark06 score, but when i did that it also disabled my dual 280m sli, and i went to the bios and disabled hybrid sli before done that and the same, so i had to reinstall the 280m drivers again and doing so enlabled my 9400 again, what the hell?? what im i doing wrong

    BIOS ---> Disable BOTH Hybrid Graphics & Integrated Graphics

    He is correct but you may still have to reinstall the graphics because now it will see it as stand alone cards.


    Not 100% sure but just pointing it out ....

    Yeah - good point Moo... what he really needs to do is enable both in BIOS, reinstall the drivers as you mentioned then he can go and disable. If he doesn't, its only going to get wonky.

    in bios it only let me dissable the hybrid graphics, the integrated graphics its grayed out

    crap i dont know whats going on, whenever i restart the laptop, i dont see nothing just a black screen and when i hit ctrl, alt, and del all i see its a green screen, i think i got a defective
