    Disabling alien fx and facial recognition

    I just got a M15X and so far I like it but I'm not really in to all the lights and that facial recognition stuff. What is the easiest way to disable all of this stuff so that the computer just starts up dark and doesn't even use facial recognition.

    Go to the command screen and click on the Sense option and you can turn it off there.

    ahh.. that hurts! You dont want the lighting? I find it extremely difficult to use the keyboard without illuminated lights.

    To get this done.. launch Command Center

    - Go to AlienFX, select "ALL" hit black color twice and Apply
    - Now AlienSense, scroll down the slider until it says Turned Off.

    hehe, all the time... teachers love me... delaying lessons for easily half an hour just by taking the opposite standpoint to whatever the subject happens to be right then :D
