I'm having some issues with my 17x ( running windows 7 ) for some reason it will not eject a disc. Whenever I try to open My computer it just tries to load it but fails. I've tried the "eject" button on the m17x with no luck. Any suggestions? The wireless cards seems to be having issues as well.

This there a way to eject your disc in the bios?

Have you tried ejecting it during boot? Sometimes it works. If not, you should probably try to disassemble it. There was a guide somewhere on this forum...
For the wireless:
I found that if you do not install Nvidia chipset driver (or at least untick the nForce controller and Ethernet during the chipset install) as well the Ricoh driver, the wireless works flawlessly. I still don't know for sure which one of the mentioned drivers affects the wireless. -

During a pre-boot diagnostics test sometimes you can eject your disc. I think its while it is testing your dvd writer or while it asks to continue testing furter.

I usually go into safe mode to eject a stuck CD.

As for wireless issues, try the Guide to solve M17x wireless connection problems which is also linked to in the stickies.
