Dell service is trash. ESPECIALLY IN CANADA. In canada you only speak to indians who sound like this: "CHAYO! YIS IS "MAJNO", SOW WAY I WELK POO?" There short tempered. Don't listen to your problem. Disconnect you ALL THE TIME! There solution to everything is do a re-install factory image. When I had my m1730 my 8800GTX cards were going up to 100C while gaming and the idiot told me they have a heat threshold of 200C. Also, I was experiencing blue screening and crashing and APPARENTLY AND I QUOTE. "whan shindow wista cwashes it mean you use computa foo mooch!" I decided to return the computer because of this horrible tech support and issues and when I spoke to the customer service agent they asked me why i wanted to return the computer because of the issues and the GOD AWFUL SUPPORT the woman says " no no no sar, your compoota is no broken. It tiz only broken if it no turn on!" I proceed to face palm yell at her and tell here to give me my ******* money back. Then she started speaking in another language. I asked whats going on and she said shes getting her manager. I talk to the manger and say I want my refund he says " zallo yis is supavisa, refoond is imposibla because you void warranteee" I began to yell and say I diddnt do anything. He says "hewe on jo file it say u install window XP" I said so? " that voi waranteee". I hang up. Face palm. Call back like 6 times finally getting to someone who does the dam RMA. I send it in and it take 3 months to get my money back DELL SUPPRT SUCKS.

You don't seem to have read it fully. 3-4 times of his previous returns were while he was UNDER his warranty. They did NOT fix the issue. This issue persisted until and after the warranty was done, and Alienware is to stop giving him repairs/service since the warranty was now over? Seriously?

I have had mixed results with their tech support. And by mixed I mean either bad or indifferent. I don't think their english was quite as bad as the people you spoke with but the attitudes were the same in some cases. I have a notebook coming from them and I am worried about it already. If something goes wrong I dread talking to them.

You mean he had to return it over and over for fixing until he couldn't because his warranty was up? That sucks.

    i did.
i also know people tend to bend the truth or withhold portions of the "problem" and not tell the whole story as to benefit thier side.

if you look at all the symptoms he said he had, then you can resonably come to a conclusion that something took place aside from just a broken hinge.

no one here that had/has an m15x has even near the problems he had. least of all:

maybe you did not read it...

A broken hinge should be a sufficient reason to fix the problem under his circumstances. In any case, he may be having an unique problem that others may not have had. There is absolutely no telling how the computer will act in different users, certainly doesn't mean that he should be having the same problem as the others, does he?

Maybe it would be more beneficial to not comment on it, if not a helpful comment, than accusing him of a liar. That takes us to a discussion that's not related to his problem. We'd be discussing whether he's good or bad, then if the humanity is good or bad eventually. I don't know how you can intentionally have dead pixels, extreme overheating of CPU/GPU, broken hinge, and BSOD, unless he threw it around and smash it against bricks. Even then, these problems most likely wouldn't happen all together. Who would do that with a 5000 dollars investment computer?

i never called him a liar nor accused him of being one...i said bending the truth or withholding portions of the issue.

and just as you have said, maybe it is better to not comment on it if you as well as i do not know the whole story or series of events.

as far as his problem, i see nothing to add then....he is disgusted...and nothing anyone posts then really has benefit since he has made up his mind.
