    yesterday i received a brand new replacement form dell for my m17x, and today it started giving me problems :(, it does not get thru the disk check for consistency, i press any key and leave it alone and none of them seem to work, it stops at 1 second. any one experienced this problem?

    Is there any error associated with this in the event log? Can take the easy route and call Dell again and have them overnight another hard drive.
