    I was just about to put windows 7 on my m15x, and the partition software I used before wil not work on a 64 bit OS. SO what would someone recomend

    also someone on here told me I can make my own alien recovery disk, is there a walkthrough out there, cause I cant find in search.

    GParted is great software. Its free, works great, and runs as a LiveCD, so a 64 bit OS won't matter.

    since i got your attention whizzo, I am looking at my drive structure right now.
    I am used to seeing a recovery partition with laptops, but theres a parition ( that I can not see when just opening up my "my computer" and its telling me that there is around 12 gigs partition and it's 100% free

    that's your recovery partition i think. no clue why it's labeled "free" though - might be a bug. ever run AlienRespawn?

    yeah it is odd that its all free and also it takes up 12 gb of space, no I have not run alienrespawn I'll be checking it out sometime today
