Hi, I have a M15x and there seems to be a problem with my display driver. I can't stream videos from websites in full screen, or else my screen will go black and will stay like that. Also, periodically, there will be times when my screen blink and will say "display driver has failed and has recovered." I'm a complete newbie when it comes to computers and would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 card

(you could also try an other driver version i had to jump to 10.9 to fix it sadly 10.9 are not officialy out so they are a pain to use

if it's happening in flash player (youtube etc..) try right clicking , configuration , and check disable hardware configuration I have a smaller laptop that only showed a white screen if I maximized a youtube video until I did that

Have you tried the M15x forum? You might receive help more efficiently in the specific forum for your system, than posting in the general Alienware forum.
