The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Come with a decent sound card? I am eagerly awaiting my notebook and I was curious if buying a great gaming headset would be a stupid thing if there isnt a good sound card in the notebooks. Thanks guys

    buy the x-fi sound card for really good quality sound. the standard one is good but nothing special

    No, not really. Its a heap of crap :) Full of static in my one at least...

    Not a big priority for me though.. got a Xonar in my main PC ;)
