I read somewhere that AlienRespawn doesn't work well to restore a backup if you had a UEFI setup such as an OS with Windows 8.1, have they fixed that issue or not yet? I ask before I purchase the premium edition of it

Secondly, they say they have encrypted Cloud Backup from 10 GB upto 1 TB but I cannot for the life of me find anything about pricing on the web! how much does the backup of 1TB cost for example?

Oh darn! when I start Respawn, it tells me the recovery partition is not available obviously that's because this is a clean install since my Alienware originally shipped with Windows 8 and not 8.1 so I don't need that recovery

I thought it was simple and would simply backup my existing C: drive along with all the smaller system partitions onto wherever I tell it to, which would be the D: partition (my 1 TB 850 PRO) but nope, it insists that it cannot find an external drive to back up and tells me to plugin an external drive with at least 100GB! I don't want that! it would take ages to do the backup and restoration when needed it. All I wanted was to backup C: onto a backup in D: so I can quickly restore when needed :(

Now there is something called DATA Backup which allows me to select the partition I want but I believe that is different than a full system backup :(

I thought you were a Macrium Reflect fanboy like me, bro. Alienware Respawn can't hold a candle to Reflect. Respawn is a rebranded version of Softthinks PC Angel that Dell, HP and some other OEMs use primarily for giving customers an opportunity for making OS recovery DVDs instead of giving them a full-fledged Windows installation disc.
