    Quick question.
Does alienware have an update service or a special web page dedicated to updates for alienware customers.

For example when new drivers, or bios come out, where do the customers find out about this and where do they find the updates?

Also last question, my 8800 GTX drivers on my m15x are 167.55 according to Riva Tuner. Is this the most up to date version? Are there newer versions, and is it safe to update to them, or better to stick to the drivers that came with the laptop.

Sorry about all the questions, but Ive never owned a laptop before, yet owned 6-7 desktops... Kinda new to this.

This is what my Alienware Document says:

    Manufacturer: Quanta
    Name: PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.1
    Version: vX32 P3
    Version: ALWARE - 6040000

Is that the most recent bios?

    Hi Andrew
firstly where are you from and which website did you order from, uk or usa.
at the top of the AW webpage click on support. you will then find various options including the download page.
    Alienware UK
    Alienware USA
To get into My Hive you will have to create an account. the account number is different from all your other numbers previously supplied by AW. this number is found in the document on your desktop named "my alienware" or on the white card that came in the folder with your backup discs in.
