    Hello

I was just wondering last night I was playing a video game that takes alot of power from the video card, I noticed after about 45min-1hour that the temperature is at 95C on the 8800GTX of the M15x ( with a beltec notebookcoolor on)

Later I saw that my computer was on balanced performance instead of high, the latter is energy saver...So I wanted to know if you think it got this hot because not everything was running at high performance to cool it down? Or am I wrong?

I don't think it works that way. Your power save mode simply reduces those unecessary or unused energy robbing devices. That being primarily your laptop's screen. That's where half your energy goes; and where your power saving option is most apparent.

What should I do then? My M15x has been sent in a total of 4 times to Alienware for repair for different reasons, im getting tired of them and there service, I wish they just replaced this laptop with an M17x or something...

My video card is getting hot...I cleaned the vents, purchased a notebook cooler...95C is bad...

    I'll bet you do.
i have no idea what the operating temperature should be for your gaming, but that seems pretty hot! In the mean time, you should just keep it as cool as you can.

yeah will do...it sucks getting stuck with this laptop, especially for the amount I paid for and for the service im getting...For all the problems this laptop has I should be given a courtesy laptop from Alienware... If a customer pays for quality and gets garbage then the company should stand by there product and make there customers happy... If I have to send this laptop in 1 more time im going to ask for a different laptop and if I dont get one ill probably get a lawyer involved...

That laptop unfortunately just runs very very hot. Make sure you get the warranty as long as possible. It reduces the time it takes for repair if they send the part to you.
