    Question in subject.
I have a brand new BD Writer that was sent as a replacement for a faulty M1710 one.
I think it's the panasonic UJ-220 model (it's not with me right now so i can't check). Question is, should i bother trying to install it ?

You can get a 115 I think, that''ll work. Basically you're just looking for a slot load Blu ray player.

It won't fit. If you want Blu Ray for your M17x, the CA10N also works. Link
