I have never really looked into any technical aspects of a computer. I stick with a laptop until it dies on me (2-3 years) and don't really use it for any intense programs (just work, browsing, email etc). Even for gaming I stick to my consoles (X360/PS3).

Now however i'll be going to college after summer and I am in need of a portable laptop not just for work but for my daily dose of MW2...lol. Anyways on this forum, I have seen people talk about overclocking their processors (don't know how to do that) and having to change alot of settings like Anti Aliasing to get the best performance. So are these things easy to learn or if I don't know them, I'll just end up having a lot of bad performance in games?

Is there some kind of a beginner tutorial for overclocking, DLing drivers etc. for the M11x?

    thanx

Overclocking the CPU is easy. It is just something you enable/disable in the bios.

As far as MW2, it's been shown to run that game without a sweat.

With a 11.6" screen and a res of 1366x768, I just don't see why anyone would enable antialiasing for. It is just not needed for such a small screen.
