Ok well heres the story. I had a 4g ipod nano. No one would buy it off me and so I sold it to alien exchange for the estimated value of $47 with earbuds and ipod cable. Printed out ups sticker and sent it in around the 1st of october. Got an email on the 3rd saying they got the item and its worth was $38!!!! I was like *** but It was too late to cancel the order. On the 5th I got an email saying that it was in the hands of ups now and its up to them when I get the card. Its now the 22nd of october and still no card! Somehow I doubt ups takes 20 days to ship something they can fit in a normal envelope!

This is horrible for me because this is the last piece of the puzzle. I am simply waiting on this $40 card to come in so I can order my m15x!

Do you have a tracking number? UPS has tracking numbers on everything. If you don
t have a number, AW is BSing you.

I would suggest to ring them and ask for the status. If they say its shipped then ask for tracking number and tell them that you are waiting for this card to order a m15x. Just out of curiosity, can't they just give you discount instead of sending you a card then let you order it??? I mean you could save time if they could just give you discount on your machine without any card or something...

    Ok well heres the latest:
Got an e-mail back that said,
Our records indicate you were mailed an Alienware gift card on 10.08.08. Please allow 12-15 working days for delivery of the gift card. The cards are issued an mailed via USPS First Class Mail, and in our experience, the mail takes 2-3 weeks for normal delivery, depending on your location.

I sent them an email back asking for the tracking number. Still no reply. . .

....after all you have been through and you still haven't gotten the hint that this is how alienware treats their customers? Yet you are still wanting a laptop from them? I just don't get how people can't get their priorities strait when it come to ordering thousand dollar products...

I thought Alienware-Armando is going to handle it for you.
On top of that, AW can just give you a $37 discount anyways. Why bother wait for the card. I am sure Armando can get you $37 coupon.

Well I have PMd alienware Armandoa 2 days ago and I still have no reply. I also PMd him like 2 weeks ago. Nothing. Still no $37 card      Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr by the time I get this card the m15 will be out!

Just to make sure im doing this right:

click on alienware armando's name > click PM > type message> send.

    right?

I also hope that everyone sees what I am going through and does NOT use alienexchange. I am going to begine calling them everyday even though they are not the company responisble for this. They do it through dealtree. I have also been e-mailing dealtree to no advail. If this WAS how alienware's CS was to me then I would be having secound thoughts.
