Downgrading m17x to Studio XPS 16

All,

I dont game much at all. I had an xps m1730 it failed and it has been replaced by the Alienware m17x.

The machine is HUGE and HEAVY. I dont think I want to keep it and I have requested a downgrade to the studio xps 16 series laptop that is 16" and 6lbs instead of 17" and 12lbs

Am I making a bad decision?

short answer is take the M17x sell it, and buy a studio 16 + have
a lot of money in your pocket.

 

^^^^ this. even with basic specs you should be able to pull in a few hundred along with the xps 16. take bigtymer's advice.

I have a nice m15x with warranty still on it and a 9800m GT, plus I'd be willing to give you some cash on top and if you're in Ohio, I'm in Columbus
