Did you disable HybridSLI in the BIOS? If you did then it won't come up.
-
I done that but i don't get it what it has to do with this.
-
Enable BOTH Hybrid and Integrated graphics in BIOS. Then run the installation.
If the previous version of the driver was not removed correctly, I suggest running CCleaner and removing it entirely. Then run the new one again. -
Oke i enable both Hybrid and Integrated graphics
and i have run ccleaner to remove it entirely
then i have tryed to install my grapichs driver again and when i run the setup i get this :
Setup failed to read the required display driver to be used with this package.
Then i tryed to install my motherboard driver and well.. just the same it say it fails to install it. -
Which driver version are you trying to install and where did you download it from?
Will also be helpful if you create a signature or post your system specs... Will be able to troubleshoot this a bit more with that info. -
I was trying to install my grapichs driver geforce gtx 260M from the dell site
and here are my system specs
processor: intel core 2 quad Q9000 2.00GHz
Grapichs : nvidia Geforce GTX 260M
chipset: nvidia nforce 730i
motherboard: Nvidia Geforce 9400M G
Memory: 4096MB DDR3 dual channel
windows vista 64bit
i hope this will help -
Missed your youtube video at first. But it looks like you need to use your respawn DVD and restore the system to factory defaults.
Also, could you give us some more details?
When did the problem start? What changes were done to the system (drivers, apps etc). If it was like this from the very beginning and restore will not help - it might be a hardware issue - call Dell. -
I can't really remember any changes that i did
the problems started a month ago.
Also that respawn DVD i have 3 dvds here
-Microsoft Office 2007
-microsoft windows vista home premium 64 bit
-M17X resource DVD
which one i need to use.. -
-
If you don't have that DVD, you can backup your saves/and other important files created during the last month and then run System Restore (click Start, type it in the search box) and pick the date before the issue started.
-
Nope don't have that DVD.
So i did what you say i run system Restore
but there is only one date i can pick and that is today. -
Then I'd go the long road - fresh install...
Before that however, I would run a full scan with your updated antivirus, just in case. That video looks like there might be even a virus problem (slim chance). -
Oke So i'm doing a full scan right now but if that wonth help
what do you mean with fresh install? -
......
Then boot from your vista cd and install it You can either Repair the existing system (by installing over it. That's what I'd normally do) or install a fresh copy formatting the HDD. In any case backup your data prior doing so. -
i would disable the device under computer management, uninstall all video drivers, then go to nvidia.com and get the most up to date drivers for the gtx260.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
this SHOULD be the appropriate download for your geforce 200 series set for vista 64-bit
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_195.62_whql.html
or choose to auto-ditect your system for drivers, which in the case is probably a bad idea.
if not.... ya id suggest a fresh re-format of the HDD then a fresh install... maybe even get Win7! ^^;... -
Oke so i have reinstall vista again and all services are working fine again i also install my drivers again and they work too.
Now there is only 1 problem ..there are things like youcam gone.. and also the lights on my keyboard don't light anymore. -
-
Finally.. really thanks man it's all fixed now.
-
-
So .. all that is fixed now but there is actually 1 problem that still remains
here is a video again
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBFAk2VrK2k
so like you can see my screen dims when i move it up and when i move it down it is bright.
I have already tryed to turn auto dim off and like you can see my brigthness is all put too 100%
but still it doesn't work.
Any ideas how this can come?
Driver problems help please
