As the Dell teams are about to take over the Tech Support and Customer Service duties for Europe-MiddleEast-Africa, I'd like to use this forum to globally thank all of our customers for their passion and loyalty to the brand.
On behalf of Peter, Martin, Joerg, Randall, Frederic, Arnaud, Jalal and myself (Oliver), we wish the new Dell technicians a heartfelt dose of success in providing outstanding support to all of you.
Sure things might get rocky for a while during the earlier transition period, but I am confident that eventually things will work themselves out as more people are brought on board and the teams expand onto new markets.
It's been a fun ride, but all good things must eventually come to end. So long my friends...![]()

So what are you going to do next?

Well, the German and French CS people have now been reassigned to Billing duties since the normal Billing team in Costa Rica was let go as well. My GF is German CS and she gets to stay on until September, as of now. So I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place...
The midlands where we live are one of the most depressed areas of Ireland job-wise. If I want to find something else, I need to move 2 hours East to Dublin, or 4 hours south to Cork.
At the moment, I'm going to take some time off and weight my options out. -
That blows man.
Every time I think of Ireland I think of a nice happy place where everyone drinks lots of beer.Sounds like paradise to me. But yeah every country has its ghettos.
Hope the best for ya! -
I'm really sorry to hear you guys are losing your jobs. Did A.W. at least offer you a job in a different location?
Good luck to you, hopefully this will lead to better horizons for you. -
