There are two empty slots inside m15x... one is next to WiFi and previously discussed but I forgot what it is called. Another one which I found today while replacing my HDD (upgraded to 1TB :D 500x2, along with SmartBay), this is next to the BIOS Battery cell.

I was wondering if I could install anything in those two slots, what are these two slots ? Also I was wondering if GM965 chipset support 8GB RAM ? With all those VPCs and next thing I am planning to try Server 2008 on this box it would be cool to have 8gb of ram... can this baby take it all ? anyone tried?

It won't take all 8gb ram. THe 965 chipset has that limitation that napa had, but with 8 gb (i.e the motherboard can address a max of 8 gb space, so 512 mb would go to graphics card, etc), leaving you with about 6-6.5 gigs of RAM. I think that the one next to the wifi is the tuner. Not sure about the other one though.

i do believe you're referring to the empty PCI-Express slot old boy. You could stick a mobile tinternet card in there or something... as for the one up the top.. .thats for the Turbo memory :)

    Hope this helped
    Tom

As for the RAM you can have 8GB also...
