    Enter key problem with Alienware 15mx

    hi guys,

    I can't use my enter key when I play games (Starwars Force Unleashed, NBA2k10), it does not fuctioning,other keys work btw. any possible solutions?

    the enter key is mapped wrong, it is mapped as number pad enter key. so i'm guessing you still have bios a02, bios a03 fixes this problem. if you need it i have the link for the working a03.

    I searched for the offical support web page but I didn't see any new bios update?

    and another question, can a usb keyboard solve this problem?

    yes a external keyboard would solve the problem. the official a03 bios bricked the laptop, but there is one that worked, and i used that to flash my bios with no problems. if you want it here is the link:

    just burn to cd and boot from it.

    Thank you for your help! I'll try that..

    anyway, did dell announce date for a new bios to fix that problem, since its really annoying to install the game and stuck in the main menu : )

    no official word from dell, but the one from the link works. if you need help flashing it let me know. the one in the link is made by dell but is not official released yet.
