:realmad: for the last 5 days or so ..i could play a game system is fine then after the system was sitting for 3 or 4 min idle it would bsod.....my first thought was what the hell i cant believe this after everything i have been through ..all i want to do is game...so i started getting upset ..i called the techs at dell and we started to check it out they kept telling me its drivers..so i have all the latest drivers from the site and guess what still blue screen...so frustrating ...so i could not sleep ..called the techs 24hr number at 2 am...my time... :D :D ...and i got a very cool rep ...the first thing he asked me is if i have anything plugged into the esata..i said yup just a hard drive...he told me to unplug it ..whola...perfect no issues at all...he told me its a known issue they are tying to fix.

Has anyone else had a issue with this or any other usb's ?..he said they are going to release a new bios soon to fix it. :wideeyed: ..so annoying that i only can keep the hard drive pluged in to use but then have to unplug it . Or is that normal you should not keep it plugged in... :wideeyed: :wideeyed:

is not really like a real bug if you think about it the hd has his own power source and the computer don't shut off because is trying to turn of the device but since it can't just stays like that not a big deal :)

I always have issues starting up while external hard drives are plugged in, it sits at the RAID info screen until I turn off or unplug all the external hard drives. This has been with any laptop that had RAID in it, never happens with single hard drive laptops.
