well if this is true i think its time for the m15x to get an ATI card. i guess we just have to see when they will start failing.

interesting read for sure, but i do question the authenticity of the information as he posted no references....
no nVidia refrences, no outside references aside from links to other articles he has written, no BBB references, nothing....

this aside, it does make you wonder...but that is all it will be for me until i see more proof.

i agree with what ryujin says. but couple of inquirer article do make sense. i dont seem to fully trust both party (inq and nvidia) at this time.

i do hope that it is not as widespread as the inq led us to believe. i have nvidia gpu on both my laptop and desktop.

Great problem is: Nvidia neither denies or makes clear statements about this.

Well, it is also time to refresh laptops gpu market.

I'm with you, it's a little sketchy with no references. I hope that's not the case. If it is, I'll have to find a way to run off integrated graphics until I can send it off to be fixed or get a new card. I'll be using it for all my classes. I can't be without a computer for 2 weeks >_<

As I see it this is pure speculation at this point. As far as we know this might just be the inquirer riding the hype wave to gather some attention for themselves. They have been wrong SO many times before I just don't trust them.

Well, I hope they are wrong then because this would turn out to be fatal for NV. I've always been an NV guy so this is pretty meh :(.
