    Hey
I have a few issues with my M17x-R2 such as it randomly shutting shutting down.
Now I am wondering if Dell would let me exchange my M17x for a M11x or 15x and give me the rest of the money back?
    Thanks

    Ask for both :D

Well chances are its not worth the hassle of returning it. Someone here definitely knows how to fix it

Yeah...I really want an M11x because it's cute :) and I have other plans but I need money.

    Would they do it though?

I don't think they would do a system to system swap like that because the M11x didn't essentially replace the M17x(like the M1730 -> M17x situations)
You'd be losing a chunk of change, you should stick with M17x; epic>cute

NO. Dell is not at the mercy of your own interest. :p

Likewise as mentioned, Dell can fix it.

well, not everyone is having this problem so get it fixed rather than swap for a different model.

the big culprit seems to be the freefall sensor. there are threads about this...

I got an issue bout my R1 (but dont wanna make new thread) so i post it here: I bought my R1 since January from Dell US. It got the well known stuttering issue, strange electrical noise happened few weeks ago...
So is there a way for me to get a replacement? I want a R2 with RGB LED and cooler CPU etc.. but most of all, to get rid off that annoying sounds, which depends on a kindly reply to my post, is fixed only by replace the mobo T_T

If i cant get a refund, should i put mine on ebay and purchase another R2?

    btw this is my spec: T9600, 4G DDR3 bus 1066, 260M SLI, 320G HDD, 1920x1200 LCD
