    Does anyone know, and sorry if its been asked before but I couldn't find it, if you buy a used Alienware can you purchase from them some sort of warranty package. I might sell my new m15x and was wondering what to tell the buyer about warranty. I know the warranty that comes with this machine does not transfer over, but does anyone know if the new owner can call alienware and buy a warranty package?

    I tried to call but I have to wait till Monday for someone to be in the office to tell me.

    You won't receive any warranty support on your m15x from Alienware if it is sold to another person. The only way would be to help the person whom you are selling it to with any trouble that arises. Sorry. The new owner cannot call Alienware and buy a new warranty package.

    yup there very stubborn on that fact. They dont even like to talk to you if you are not the original owner

    Wow ok thx guys for the info. I will try to sell it locally so at least if there is a prob I can help the person out with a warranty claim and tech support.
