Like I said, i need some advice. I'm looking to buy an external monitor and hook up with my m15x.
    Has to have the following:
    22-24 inch
    hdmi input
max $300, preferably $250 or less

I narrowed it down to the Dell Sp2309w:

    and the asus Vh236h:

I'm leaning towards the Dell because of the extra features such as webcam and USB ports. But I am somewhat concerned about the (maybe too) high native resolution: 2048*1152 compared to the asus' more respectable 1920*1080 native res. Does the 8800m gtx have the power to run most games at the dells native res (Css?). Furthermore, both monitors have a 16:9 aspect ratio and was wondering what the advantages and disadvantages to this are compared to standard 16:10 ratio. In terms of the price I can get the Dell for $240 after instant savings and a coupon and the Asus at around $200 so is the 40$ worth the higher res and a couple extra features for the Dell?

Also any suggestions for alternatives are welcome.
