I was wondering if anyone has tried to hook up an external monitor to the M15X. My laptop has a 1920 by 1200 resolution and it has a 15.4 inch screen. I am looking at a 24 inch widescreen Dell but I am wondering if the screen will be cropped off or if there will be any other problems.

why should it be cropped off? you can use a different resolution on the external monitor, it doesn't have to be the same as the res on your notebook display.

I've seen HD displays do that.

with an actual MONITOR though, there shouldn't be a problem... also, anything with a DVI-D input... they're pretty much good...

you'd need an HDMI to DVI-D converter though.
