    FPS on F.E.A.R

    I have a intresting issue, when i start playing fear i get good fear rate 150 -200 fps and after a while it drops to 30 fps, has anyone faced this issue before?

    I am running 3870X2 and T9500

    nope, i also tried re-installing the drivers and also changed the mouse, doesnt help after say 2 mins into the game it drops to 35 fps

    what OS do you have?Vista or XP?

    i am running Vista X64, i did check running mass effect and looks that one one is running constatly running @60 FPS. so the problem is only with FEAR

    Are you using a Logitech mouse by any chance?
    Apparently there is some problem between FEAR and the setpoint software, so if you have it you might try turning it off while playing FEAR.

    I had the same problem (with setpoint software running), it was very annoying having to restart the game every 10mins or so. But I can't confirm the fix as I haven't tried it myself.

    F.E.A.R is not compatibility with Vista, you have to run this game on XP.I couldn't ran this game with more than 30 fps on low like in highest detalis.I checked this issue with several system

    Rename the .exe to MassEffect.exe and give it another go.
