    Wow !
I ordered my M17x on december 5 and received it on december 17 (12 days wait) (I'm in Quebec, Canada)

After reading the forum here, I was afraid of the stuttering issue.
I'm happy to say I didn't encounter this problem.
I played Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 at the highest setting without problem (excellent game by the way, altough I didn't liked the airport terrorist killing...)

If I compare it to my XPS M1710, I can say that the M17x stay cool even while gaming (the M1710 was hot for the wrist/hand) but the fans are louder.
I find the TouchPad on the M17x less responsive than the one on the M1710.
No problem with my wireless access/card.
The screen on the M17x is a bit more reflective, and a bit darker too. (On sunny day, it's harder to see than my other notebook). Yeah, I know, when it's sunny outside, we are not supposed to play computer games :)

So, i'm really happy with this beast of a machine

    my machine
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9100 @ 2.26GHz
    4 gig ram
    2X GeForce GTX 280M SLI
    320GB HARD DRIVE
    1920 X 1200 screen

I wonder when they will finaly put in those new corei7 cpu's. Maybe they are just waiting untill nvidia brings out its new 300 series, which shouldn't take much longer.

We suspect that they're waiting for the new mobile i7 chips next year which will be 32nm chips.
