    I along with a few others have had problems getting win7 to make both graphics cards work. The problem i was seeing was in Device Manager only one card would show work, with a yellow exclamation on the other card. When looking at the details of the non-working card it had a error code... cant remember what it was.

    Well I have just managed after 2 clean installs and about 15 driver install attempts to get it to work.... here is what I did, maybe it will work for you.

    +++++

    Open device manager, right click on the first card, select "update driver software", then "browse my computer for driver software", then "Let me pick from a list of devices drivers on my computer". You should now see an option for "standard VGA graphics adapter"... now do the same for the other card.

    Restart windows 7. Delete all ATI software and run drivesweeper. Restart. Now install whichever CCC and driver you like... I chose 9.9, not sure if it will work with others. Restart. Voila. Hopefully.

    +++++

    Well I am no technical guru, but would liek to hear if it worked for you as it has for me.... just dont expect any guidance if it doesnt! :D

    For me it was that win7 was constantly updating the driver.. to the wrong driver.

    I just disabled automatic driver updates from the "device installation settings" wizard (just type that in windows search and you'll see it)

    Hope this works for anyone having trouble sustaining xfire in win7

    Yeah i tried that a number of times and it didnt work for me. Everytime, no matter what, Windows would try and install what it wanted! so frustrating.

    Just finished a couple of hours on warhead and its been working seamlessly... happy!

    You can remove those drivers from the driver vault stored inside the windows system folder as well so they will never install again.. I had a similar problem and ultimately solved it that way by removing them forever.. Seems Driversweeper or even searching would not find them.. Also i think i had to take ownership of the folder before i could delete it ..
