Is there any word on an updated version of the x36 bios version that does not have the improper thermo fan readings?

I haven't heard from Roswell since last week. I'll check up on it when I have the time tomorrow.

Had to scramble through 7 pages of threads to find this specific thread.
Managed to get this in the morning. I was planning on emailing her sometime this week about it but she got to me before I got to ask her about it, haha. Here we go:
The new thermo fan utility is said to be able to fix the temperature reading bugs associated with the X36 BIOS. -
Are they fixing it correctly? According to her the bug seem to be with Monitoring application, but what about the speed of the fans.. they always run at MAX.
The BIOS is responsible of reading those values from hardware and return them to user level application (ThermoFan in this context) but Fan's probably will read the same value from BIOS and adjust their speed accordingly. With current x36 the FAN see a value of 80c and keep running at full blast. So they might fix the ThermoFan utility but that possibly will not fix the issue with fan & we will wait more time to fix that problem later.
I might be wrong but that's how I interpret the problem. Oceanus can you forward my thoughts to Roswell. -
Yeah, like I said in the other thread, I'm not quite sure how this will fix this issue, but I'm taking their word for it for now.
In any case, I'll forward your thoughts to Roswell tonight and hopefully get their response back to you by tomorrow afternoon. -
Okay, message forwarded.

I tested the X36 BIOS for several weeks and managed to get the system to run completely silent with the fans going slow. That leads me to think that the stuck system temp is not playing a big part in the speed and noise from the fans. But, the fans are terrible and if you start doing anything on the system they quickly come back at full blast. So for that reason I did downgrade back to X32. As far as I've understood it AW have lowered the temp threshold of the fans in order to combat the reports of DC's with the extreme CPU. Personally I can't see why the fans would need to go full blast the second the cpu temp passes 30C. So far the X32 BIOS is still the best.

Where can you get the X32 BIOS?
