This may be a stupid question, but did any of you that had the DC issues have them on games? I read alot about how everyone benchmarked and stressed their GPU's so they could uncover the DC issue, and then flashed to x32. My M15X was delivered April 11th, and it had the x30 bios. I have played The Witcher and Bioshock consistently for a couple hours at a time with Rivatuner recording in the back, and I have not seen anything over 75c and no downclocking. I ran 3dmark06 and got over 10k with no downclocking. I am curious if I should flash up because I want the latest. What do you think?

    Thanks

It would probably be best to upgrade at some point, however since the current X32 version is still technically only a beta version, you might as well wait until the final version.

You can do it if you are experiencing problems or just to try. That won't hurt your system.

Keep in mind that not all m15x got the downclocking issue.

Yea, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Don't waste your time flashing the BIOS.

You might set off some cataclysmic event. :D

Thanks everyone. Just played Bioshock for 2 hours and it peaked at 76c. I'm "cool" for now. But it's cold here in Portand, and I'm playing on a vented table with the window open. I'm pretty sure we will all be complaining when the heat comes this summer.

You can wait till final release. The first thing I did then reveived my comp was updationg bios, but now I don't know if it was good. Well, no problems and no downclocking so far, so who cares :D

EDIT: OMG you have my avatar :D but you can keep, I don't care to be honest.

Exactly. Mine has no downclock and no heating up issues, I'm not flashing the bios until I see something wrong. Especially since the bios makes the fans spin even faster which means ++ noise and ++ power consumption. Save the world, spin your fans lower :p (just kiddnig), or just the battery if you're gaming on battery occasionally :D.
