I'd like to direct your attention to this thread which I found over in the Sager forums. This makes a lot of sense, and explains why removing the synaptics drivers gets rid of the problem. It seems that uninstalling them, however, is not entirely necessary and that simply disabling them via the control panel is sufficient. That's good news for anyone who uses an external mouse a lot of the time. Read for yourselves.

As I stated in that thread, I do see this occur rarely with the np5793, but to nowhere near as great an extent as I did with the m15x. When I'm at home, using the laptop on a desk, I often have an external mouse plugged in, so it's pretty nice to know that I can just eliminate the problem completely any time I need to with such a simple measure.

When I uninstalled the drivers it didn't fix the problems - and now I've re-installed them but the touchpad is disabled and it's still happening

Interesting... Good find Callidor. I'll give it a shot when my 2nd unit comes in.

Callidor, does it happen on your sager with double sequential character presses "ee", "oo", etc.. just as it did on the m15x?
-
its hard to say because it happens so infrequently. what i have noticed, interestingly enough, is that when you have a word that ends with one letter, followed by a space, and then a word that begins with the same letter, it may come out missing the space and the start of the second word. (ie: "what the" = "whathe") It's hard to really isolate unique cases and causes though, because it happens far less often than it did on the m15x.

i had my sager keyboard replaced due to this and i have never had this issue again since.. so its hard to say if this is the real fix or not
For those experiencing keyboard response problems with the m15x
