If you only use a single gaming mouse via usb while playing games, and want a proper right angle usb adapter for the left side of the m17x (the first vertical port), check out this link:

    http://www.usbfirewire.com/Parts/rr-gaar02-14.html

I'm pretty sure that this cable will send the usb of your mouse heading straight to the back of your desk! Click "click here to buy" and then click either the 4 inch or the 14inch length Down Angle adapter. (up angles will send the cord towards you, bad).

hit me up with some rep if this helped anyone with the same O.C.D. issues I have.

wow....that's fantastic! but then that means i cannot use my audio out/other usb ports/LAN port/SATA ports from my m17x since the right-angled usb will interfere with it....

this is for the left side of the system, so you would likely only be unable to use the display port and lan port (the cable will angle slightly to allow you to plug into hdmi or vga). I guess I don't really expect to be using the lan cable except for at lans so I don't find this to be an issue for me, but it will of course bother those who use a lan setup most of the time.

I've attached an image of how I see this working... its a nerdy little paint drawing, so don't laugh.
