    How dose alienrespawn work exaclly? Is it just like a OS disk where i just format my HHD then use the respawn disk to install window instead of my W7 disk?

    It's pretty much just an image of factory settings, like most recovery disks.

    So why do they charge the extra $50? Don't all dell computers just come with recovery disks? Whats so special and valuable about the respawn disk? Is is it a brand name thing?

    lol i did not even bother to buy it, they already gave me windows CD why do I need that respawn? Its just a thing that recover your coputer to factory settings. I think its quite useless, I can install windows by myself.

    Well not only windows, but I think it has all the Alienware software that comes with it. Who knows, I'll find out when my laptop gets here. I'm going to install it on my 1720 and see if that works too. I guess it's just an image of how you computer came when you recieved it. All the settings and what not.
