curious as to the time frames for an AW system from cart to crib (order to delivery).
i am not looking for anti-AW comments or pro-other company comments either.
i know several people have the time frames in the sigs, but i am a bit lazy and do not feel like attempting to go thru them all...

even those that did not have a great experience with AW - please feel free to post time frame for this...

Took 28 days cart to crib for me. I made no changes to my initial order and it was two weeks past the projected date!

Mine arrived very promptly in 11 days (July 15th-26th). Actually, it might have even come earlier because I was on a cruise until the 28th. I just recall the last delivery attempt to be the 26th. There could've been others earlier, I just forget now. So, good stuff Alienware.

 

July 17th to 25th. Loaded m17x.

yea it took a bit. but i ordered during the time that AW was having part shortages. if you order now you will be able to get one alot faster now.

Now that is one pleasant surprise. See, I really don't think AW is doing that bad. It just seems like most of the people that have no issues don't post. Which actually makes sense because if I didn't have trouble installing the x-fi express card (or any other problem) I might not have come and joined this community either. Although, I'm glad I did.

 

Mine took three weeks to arrive because of a problem with the mug not being in stock.

It arrived in three weeks though so i''m not complaining. Just installing all my stuff lol

Well, it has the Ripley design, sleath black colour but, has the word Alienware printed on like grey on oposite sides of the handle.... I mean it's hard core performance.

I haven't ran any heat/cool benchmarks yet but, will tonight and i'll post the results...

I'm also going to run the DW benchmarking test...

My m17x is delivered today and I have to work for another 3 hours before I can unpack it.............. BUT It's my experience that one should be patient with all good things in life. And that includes an Alienware!

 

Yeah i'm compiling my review at the moment. It won't be a complete review as i've not had time to "play" with every feature yet but i'm going to attach pictures directly, once i've reduced them in size lol I took 640x480 originals so they should look good once i've made them smaller (",)



The rest are of the same quality...
