I downloaded the fusion controller driver from the alienware website, and it says it for win7 64 bit. But right now its running 40% of my cpu and 1milionk of memory!!! I tried to research it but all I found is other people saying how high theirs went. Is there actually a fix besides disabling it? This is on an m17 -r1

Once of your previous threads mentioned that you had a pre-Dell Alienware.

For assistance specific to your system, you will have better luck posting in the Alienware Area-51/Aurora and Legacy Systems subforum.

    Good luck!

Keep in mind, since you have a legacy Alienware system, this will NOT work for you and you risk damaging your system. This is only for the M17xR1 released by Dell/Alienware.

Uninstall it asap. Command Center has not been updated for the legacy systems. Also, all drivers for your system should be grabbed from here -

The linked site above is for LEGACY Alienware systems, not Dell/AW systems.

As Taz mentioned, posting here is your best option. Review the threads in this section - you might find something useful and quite a bit of info on your system.

Okay, I did download the newest driver from the Alienware website (my computer came with vista and a free 7 upgrade when it was released) and the newest driver I just got says its for windows 7.

I thought this might be a command center issue didn't think my model would affect it.
