    Update: received my replacement part EXTREMELY FAST!!! If only it was not the heat sink :(
    On the phone with an agent as I type. He's sending the replacement to me, Should be Tuesday or Wednesday when I get it.

    hmm... maybe, if the plug/connector is compatible. i'm asking because it might be a good idea to check if the fan really was the source of the noise. i managed to reproduce the sound with an external battery pack, so i know the fan was the cause in my case.

    Iv held the fan and switched the laptop on; Used it in stealth mode + integrated, unplugged the fan while it was in use (on the not so great advise of the TS) - pretty sure its the fan only.
