Alienware fixed my hinge (new chassis and new screen, 1920x1200 free upgrade). However they forgot about my overheating problem, partly my fault - put a HDD bios on it, they can't get past that haha. Anyway had to buy a new HDD because the old one wouldnt accept my password :S.

But now playing WoW it hit 110 degrees, and it has plenty airflow. Not good at all :/

thats insane, If your willing to take it apart see if they removed the tape from the thermal compund on your heatsink.

You might want to check and make sure the video card fan is connected.

and the m15x does not use thermal pads, it only uses gel.

If that doesn't work, I would recommend calling to get a heat sink replacement/fan replacement..

Either you need to remove the heatsink and see if there is a problem, and reapply a quality thermal paste or send it back to A.W. Your temps are unacceptable and will end up destroying your graphics cards.

I'd recommend what Rob says. Stop using the m15x altogether the more you use it now the more damage you're going to do to it.

I second this. Your GPU temperatures are too high and using it any further for any kind of gaming or GPU intensive work will ultimately damage your computer.
