When playing Crysis or Crysis Warhead on my M17X with the extreme CPU and 8800m GTX cards in SLI sometimes the game stops and returns to the main game screen. If i hit the resume tab the game continues normally. Using the 178.15 drivers and both the CPU and GPU temps are in the normal range. No overheating. i made sure the anti-virus was off and not running any other monitors when gaming. It just happens once in awhile during the game. Could it be a Vista related issue? i tried the 179.13 drivers and the same thing happened. Any ideas gamers? Could something be running in the background causing this to happen? Playing the game at normal settings and resolution. Nvidia control panel set in the balance position.

    1. update to the latest patch if there is one

Check temps with HWMonitor and the max range never goes higher than the 80's. So do not think it is a temp issue. Not sure how to paste data from task manager.

you probably just get to excited and accidentally hit the "esc" button in your fragging frenzy without noticing...or maybe u cant remember it during the fragging frenzy..and then you are like ***? what happened? :)

Check if there are any viruses or any program that screws around and hits the "esc" button.
