I loaded FSX, and POP: WW onto my M17x and both games have black vertical bars on each end. They look like I am playing in windowed mode. Yet Wolfenstein runs full screen with no issues at all.

Is it possible to get older games to run full screen, if so how?

I assume FSX is Flight Sim X, right? If so did you look at the display settings and change the resolution for widescreen? FSX is a pretty modern game that should detect desktop resolutions. Also did you install service pack 2 for FSX?

make sure aspect ratio is set to 16:10 if youre 1900x1200, and 16:9 for 1920x1080

When I stopped playing FSX sp1 wasn't even out yet, so it has been awhile.

FSX plays better now, thanks for the assist.
