The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The m17x probably can handle the GTX280M (since it is a 17inch), in SLi not sure. it all depends on where they put the SLi connection, and the slave card.

    The other thing is just because it fits might not mean it works, the motherboard Bios might not support it.

    All this is speculation, but if some one bought a GTX260m or a GTX280m and tried it. If it worked there would be many people following suit. If it did not I do not see why you couldn't sell it to the Clevo guys or on ebay.
