If you guys could post some general cleaning tips here for alienware Laptops and computers maybe we can all, with a joint effort, put together a general take care of tips.

If you suggest something please say why and how to do it. The reason I'm making this thread is because I would like to know a good way to clean my screen with out scratching it all up, and i know others would like easy and safe ways to clean things ..like keyboard and such. Post!

screen cleaning: i use a micro fiber cloth and screen cleaning solution.

more important is the vents, at the bottom of the laptop. buy a couple cans of compressed air, to blow it out the vents and fans.

here is a great video from wattos showing vent cleaning,

Another great cleaning technique you should apply once in a while is to take a vacuum and vacuum the intake ports. You'll be AMAZED how much fuzz can end up coming out of them if it hasn't been done in a while! Also, you'll be amazed how much cooler (less fan operation) your machine will run afterwards. I have seen many high-performance laptops that were used in beds and couches, under blankets, etc. and they really end up getting chronically hot and weird-acting, until you vacuum them out. Usually I get out my shop vacuum and suck the hell out of them, but probably that's overkill. I'm sure any decent vacuum would do the job.
