Hey guys im kind of a noob when it comes to laptops and such but what would you recommend I do when i get my m17x .... Im thinking mostly along the lines of setting up and downloading drivers... I know theres a drivers thread but i dont really know what good/benfit it will do and if its a hard process or not. Other than drivers anything to help improve it would be greatly appreciated

well there is a large price range for the m17x, it will really depend on what your budget is.
Assuming you are doing gaming, getting the best GPU possible will perhaps have the most impact on games performance, followed by the processor. So, I would get the best possible GPU, then work the rest of the components in my budget.

I'm pretty sure he's already ordered his M17x and it's going to arrive at his house today.

How about disabling the present touchpad driver and installing a new one?

Is there a walk-through for that on here?(sorry if asked a million times)

Take a look at the M17x FAQ. Excellent resource for anything you may need to do.
