The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

A lot of stupid comments were made. I doubt AW is going to take it seriously. :(

For whatever it's worth, I posted a [quite lengthy] comment. We'll see if it makes it through their screening process. ;D

Let make the info on here where it would help new users get facts not Oh cool that laptop rock even if they dont own that laptop and so on. Where the notebookreview with Worldwide m15x Forum Survey will give users more facts. They can look at damage and power and heat in to facts and go oh that laptop not good or go oh that laptop rocks.

I think one websites that can give real info is better then a website going oh that laptop look so freaken cool. I have to own it no matter what the cost.

Listen people bells and wistles is not going to cut it for real people and going to a site that give Little facts is not going to help other people. Where all the facts here will give all the facts needed.

They can look at the facts and go ok this laptop good or bad.

most of the comment i read on that is saying to either lower the price or turn it into a apple....

if i were AW i would probably not even take their comment seriously since they dont even own the m15x.

Yeah.. when i said "Allow turning off all the lights and having the alien head able to be the same colour for AC and battery" someone told me (on the page after my comment) that I was wrong and they could all be turned off and customized fully... and that I should know something about a product before commenting on it.

    ****wit.

    "1)COOLING!!!!!!
    2) make it so users can turn off all the lights, and have them set however they want, i.e. same colour for plugged in and battery on the alienhead, and give the M17x the light pipe
    3) quit shafting the UK: give us the same prices, options and release dates rather than getting a stripped down version for 1000 dollars extra a few months after the US release"

"you can turn off all the lights and/or customize them the way you want andnext time you post a comment learn something about the product first"

"Nooo... I spend a lot of time on NBR. You can't turn off the alien head or the touch controls/ power buttons. And you cant have the alien head set to the same colour for A/C power and battery power.

perhaps YOU need to learn about the product"
