I have never been having any problems running both tv and sound through hdmi..

Since i reinstalled the audio drivers it just dont work no more..

I can still choose hdmi as standard for output, but no sound is comming?

I tryed looking up an similar thread, but could'nt find any who worked for me?

Anyone know what to do as this is pretty irritating?

I have a different model but... here are some questions...
    1. Have you recently installed a new driver? If so, it may have issues. Try reverting back to an older driver.
    2. Have you experienced any recent windows crashes or blue screens? Maybe windows needs to be repaired at startup.
    3. Have you tried a different hdmi cable or (lcd/tv)? Cables and inputs do go bad so I would eliminate all variables (cables, lcd, tv, etc..).

I hope it works out for you.

    Best wishes,

    StevenX

I find this happens when I leave my laptop plugged in to the TV via HDMI on bootup. The solution I've found, is to unplug the cable before bootup, then plug it back in after you've logged in.
